I’ve been in the sports & outdoor sector for over 15 years and sold technical medical kit prior to that (the good kind of drugs and specialist equipment).  I’ve worked with some sports brands from the early days of their launch in the UK (Under Amour and Skins), outdoor brands (Granger’s) and cycling brands (Fox Racing and Muddyfox).  For more details about my career record, have a look at my Linkedin profile. 

If you're thinking of asking me to represent your brand, you’ll probably want to know a bit about me and whether I’m the right fit (to sell your products and to generally deal with).  Finding the right agent is a bit like dating.  Firstly, you both want to get something out of the relationship.  Secondly the more you know about each other before you get serious, the better it’ll work in the long run.  So:

·      I’ve been mountain biking and snowboarding since the early 90’s and my stress levels increase        when I’ve not been on two wheels for a while.  Road cycling has crept in recently – a necessary evil as a quick fix to keep my fitness levels up.  I’ll be blunt though – any brand that requires me to go ‘full roadie’ and shave my legs, probably isn’t going to work for me.

·      I used to sail (a heck of a lot) and ride horses (a little) and although I’ve been off the water and out of the saddle for a while, I’m planning to get re-acquainted soon when I teach my son.

·      I’m a serial tinkerer and am not happy without a garage and something mechanical in pieces – currently two 1960's Norman Nippy mopeds
